Privacy Policy
OpenSEO Recipe Network
Last updated: October 28, 2026
In short
- If you connect a Google account, the App gets read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics data for properties you choose.
- We use that data only to show SEO reports and to plan content for websites we operate.
- We never sell it, never use it for advertising and never use it to train AI models.
- Tokens are encrypted, and you can disconnect and revoke access at any time.
1. Who we are
OpenSEO Recipe Network (“the App”) is a private, self-hosted search engine optimisation (SEO) dashboard available at https://seo.nexacod.cloud. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the team that operates the App. The App is built on the open-source OpenSEO software.
The App is used by us and the team members we invite to analyse the search performance of websites we own and operate, including therecipecorner.recipes, dailydishy.online, simplysavora.com and thedailywhisk.site. It is not offered to the public: accounts are created only by invitation.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
For each App account we store a name, an email address and a password (kept only as a salted hash), plus the session data needed to keep you signed in.
2.2 Google user data
Only if you choose to connect a Google account, the App receives data through Google OAuth using the read-only permissions below. The App never requests permission to change your Google Search Console or Google Analytics settings or data.
| Permission | Data we access | Why |
|---|---|---|
Email addressuserinfo.email |
The email address of the connected Google account. | To show which Google account is connected and to manage that connection. |
Search Console, read-onlywebmasters.readonly |
The list of Search Console properties you can access and, for the properties you select, search performance data (search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, country, device and date) and URL Inspection results (index status, crawl and canonical information). | SEO reports, finding search queries and pages with room to improve, and checking that our pages are indexed. |
Google Analytics, read-onlyanalytics.readonly |
The list of Google Analytics 4 accounts and properties you can access and, for the properties you select, reporting data such as organic landing pages, sessions, traffic sources, engagement and key events. | Measuring how visitors from organic search use our websites. |
2.3 SEO research data
We buy keyword metrics, search results and backlink data from DataForSEO for keywords and domains we research. This is not Google user data.
2.4 Technical data
Our web server records IP addresses, browser user agents and request details for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for up to 10 days.
3. How we use Google user data
We use Google user data only to provide the App’s features to you:
- showing Search Console and Google Analytics reports for the properties you connect;
- identifying search queries and pages with improvement potential;
- prioritising topics and checking indexing for content on websites we operate. For this, our internal content-planning system, Recipe Reach Studio (operated by us on the same infrastructure), reads search query and page performance data from the App.
We do not:
- use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting, personalised or interest-based ads;
- sell Google user data, or use it to build profiles of individuals;
- use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models;
- allow people to read Google user data, except with your consent, for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.
OpenSEO Recipe Network’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or rent information. We share Google user data only in these cases:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the App and under confidentiality obligations: our server hosting provider (Hostinger).
- Keyword data lookups. When you ask the App for keyword metrics on search queries, including queries from Search Console, the query text is sent to DataForSEO to retrieve search volume and difficulty. No Google account details or tokens are sent.
- AI model providers. If we use an AI model provider to help analyse search data or draft content plans, we send it only search query text and page URLs, never Google account details or tokens, and only to providers that do not use the data we send through their API to train their models.
- Legal reasons. When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or security of the App, its users or others.
- Business transfers. If the App or the websites it serves are transferred to a new owner, with notice to account users and with this policy’s protections continuing to apply.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers we control at our hosting provider. Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. All connections to the App use HTTPS, the App is available only to signed-in, invited users, and administrative access to the server is restricted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information. Information may be processed in the countries where we or our service providers operate.
6. Retention and deletion
- Google connection. Tokens are kept while your Google account is connected. When you disconnect it in the App (Integrations → Disconnect), the stored grant is deleted and the token is revoked with Google.
- Google data. Search Console and Analytics data cached for reports is kept only as long as needed for those reports, and is deleted within 30 days after you disconnect or ask us to delete it.
- Accounts. App account data is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- You can also remove the App’s access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
7. Cookies
The App uses only the essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. It uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information, and you can disconnect your Google account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
The App is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify App account users before the changes take effect.
